Description: UMC with support from UND Aerospace operates an advanced Warrior Flight Training Device. Equipped with the standard six pack instrument panel layout. The students are given the opportunity to develop an instrument scan that can come in useful when flying general aviation aircraft. FTDs complement training provided in the Piper Warrior. The Warrior FTD has a visual database containing every airport in the United States. This means that students can conduct virtual training anywhere from isolated mountain airports to the nation's busiest commercial airports.
